The Mini Pacer Survey
The Product Acquisition Consumption
and Evaluation Review (PACER) program
is a service we provide to healthcare organizations to critically assess the products and
services they consume and the utilization patterns of those products and services. This
assessment involves the application of value analysis techniques to identify opportunities
to significantly reduce operating expenses.
We are pleased to offer you a free Mini-PACER
that will provide a snapshot of your current expenses in a variety of product lines. We
will compare your current costs to our national database and provide you a summary report
detailing cost reduction opportunities. To proceed, we will require the information listed
on the Mini-PACER form below. Please send the information to info@peca.org or you can attach any text file of your
choice. All information provided to our firm will be held in strict confidence.
By providing the requested information, your medical
center will also be included in our Annual National Supply
Cost Survey. This survey benchmarks total non-salary expenses comparing hospitals
of similar sizes and acuity levels. It will allow you to compare your healthcare
organization by cost per admission and by adjusted patient day. Currently, there are over
500 hospitals participating in this survey. We will provide you with a summary report
within thirty (30) days of receiving the data. Upon completion of the report, we will then
contact you to review our findings and discuss with you any possible assistance that we
may provide to help reduce your non-salary cost.
