Richard Beam

Richard Beam is an associate of PECA with over 8 years experience  in the healthcare industry.  Mr. Beam has been affiliated in various Southern California hospitals.  As a laboratory technician III, he has been a part of the Emergency Room staff, and been involved in the development and training of new employees. Mr. Beam has also taken part in the planning and execution of health fairs that were designed to screen for early detection of heart conditions, breast cancer, diabetes and other common healthcare problems.

Mr. Beam has used his experience and education to support PECA’s efforts in healthcare consulting. His specific achievements are:

·        Designing, installing and maintaining  PECA's computer network

·         Providing training and support with various computer applications including MS Office products, internet applications and remote access software

·        Designing and creating  PECA's website

·        Providing onsite accounts payable analysis

·        Supporting analysis for laboratory services

Mr. Beam is also involved in the financial analysis and database development from the clients accounts payable and MMIS data.  In addition, he provides support in the collection of data for PECA's clients and  offers technical assistance for the Pacer™ Program, Supply Chain Re-Engineering and data transfers.

He  holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from Lakeland College, Japan.
