      Terry McLellan


Mr. Mclellan, an associate of PECA, has over 19 years experience in the management of Materials Logistics and other support services in healthcare. His career encompasses a wide range of experiences in business and related activities. The types of activities include business planning, hands-on operational management, teaching, and consulting. Organizational environments include both profit and non-profit enterprises and industry segments of healthcare services, manufacturing, management consulting services, and construction.

Mr. Mclellan’s most recent accomplishments include:

  • Installation of centralized materials management information system used throughout integrated healthcare system to consolidate approximately $50 million of materials flow for 18 separate corporations.
  • Annual supply expense savings of $2 to $4 million through supply selection strategies and negotiation of competitive pricing.
  • Development of system-wide laundry services for integrated healthcare system doing in excess of 7,000,000 pounds of laundry annually.
  • Developing a comprehensive program of supply standardization throughout an integrated healthcare system using a combination of standing and ad hoc work groups to implement necessary changes.

Mr. Mclellan also served as adjunct faculty in the Business School of the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas.   In addition, he taught undergraduate courses in Purchasing Management, Business Communications, Small Business Management, and Organizational Behavior.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Missouri at Rolla and his Master of Business Administration in Business Management at the University of Dallas.
