Service Description
06/17/2024 - 07/25/2024 MTWTh 12:00PM-1:00PM PST This 6-week virtual workshop is designed to introduce high school students to the fundamentals of business, marketing, and finance. Students will learn about the basics of business, including business planning, market research, and operations management. They will also gain an understanding of marketing, such as market segmentation, consumer behavior, and promotional strategies. Additionally, students will learn the fundamentals of finance, like budgeting, financial statements, and investment analysis. The workshop will consist of a combination of lectures, case studies, and hands-on activities. Students will work in groups to develop business plans, conduct market research, and analyze financial statements. Students will also have the opportunity to interact with guest speakers who are experts in their respective fields. These guest speakers will share their experiences and insights, providing students with a valuable perspective on the world of business, marketing, and finance. Upon completion of the workshop, students will have a solid foundation in business, marketing, and finance, and be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue further study in these areas or to apply these concepts in real-world scenarios.
